Analysis
The protesters are doing well to refuse dialogue with Edi Rama, but I have a question: What about each other, why don’t they dialogue by gathering at a table without masks?
In any bloody war, even when thousands are killed, the parties usually maintain channels of communication and negotiate a ceasefire or peace.
Israelis negotiate with Palestinians.
The Americans negotiated with the Taliban.
Iran has negotiated with Washington.
Ukraine and Russia hold rounds of negotiations.
Edi Rama can leave today, but what happens tomorrow: Will early elections be announced or will we have a technical government with a puppet prime minister chosen by Rama and Berisha?
It’s been 6 months since hundreds of defendants say that Albania, until the elections, should not be governed by the SP or DP, but by a technical government.
99% do not understand this concept at all.
Albania has had a technical government three times:
1991 – government of stability.
1997 – reconciliation government.
2017 – the government of Lulzim.
In all three cases, the prime minister and ministers were proposed as technical and not political, but from the parties’ dialogue table. Then the procedure is:
* They are decreed by the president.
* They are voted by the parliament.
For these reasons, I am asking a question to the protestors in masks or flamingos:
* If Rama resigns today, who will propose the new prime minister of the technical government tomorrow?
* Rama? Berisha? PS-PD?
* Masks? Flamingos? The people? Which of them, because they have neither a leader nor representation?
* And the ministers, who will propose them?
* And after the proposal, who will vote for them?
* Who decides how long this government will last?
The protesters tried to elect a 300-person civic assembly, and on the first day they gathered in a hall, they beat each other.
Can they tell us where this failed “citizen’s assembly” initiative went?
Why, with these ridiculous experiences, do they seek to make the revolution?
Do you know why foreign embassies, Washington or the EU do not support the protest?
Because they have no one to negotiate with.
They have been wanting to have meetings for six months and they have neither a leader, nor a spokesperson, nor a leader. They are simply an anarchic movement.
Who will propose the names of the ministers and the prime minister or will each protester choose one name and we will have 2000 candidates and who will select these?
How can the US and the EU support Rama’s departure without having a guarantee of who will come after him? Therefore, the protestors with masks should expose the face of the one they want to replace Rama and show the people and the international community that this is the man who will lead Albania after Rama.
If these protestors are not organized, not structured, not represented, not programmed, not institutionalized, then they neither want Rama’s departure nor a technical government, but only the destabilization of Albania.
Time is passing and elections are approaching.
If the protest does not have its own logo and political party, then who will the Albanians vote for on the ballot? PD-PD again.
The change cannot come either from the Kamza gymnasium or from the Lapraka gymnasium, because they do not even have the right to vote – 18 years old.
We will not be able to remove Rama, nor will we be able to elect a technical government if the protesters, from Molotov bombs, are not transformed into legal and institutional bombs to take power as political formations and not as guerilla units.
Otherwise, we will end up with that expression:
“Heroes make the war, but masquerades take power again.”
Some say let Rama go and whoever wants to come.
In fact, if the protesters do not have a name for prime minister, then Rama resigns and goes to the elections and wins again because he has the constitutional right to re-candidate, so he cannot stop him.
In fact, there is only one reason why the protesters do not organize, because the 5th column has entered among them, the people of Berisha, Meta, Agron, Arlind and even Edi Rama, but they all put sticks so that the party that should take power is not created or that a new leader emerges who would become the Prime Minister of Albania and get more votes than Rama.
Albania needs solutions and choices, and these cannot be achieved either by Rama with gas cylinders or Molotov masks.
Voting day is approaching, but voters still do not see new alternatives on the horizon.
