The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry shared the results of the inspections it carried out in order to prevent imitation, adulteration and irregularities in the food sector. In the latest disclosure list published by the Ministry, it was announced that nonconformity was detected in the yoghurt product of a large company operating in the milk and dairy products sector.
According to the public announcement of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Tezcanlar Dairy Products Industry and Trade Joint Stock Company, which produces in the Ergene district of Tekirdağ, was included in the list. It was revealed through analysis that the product named “Arslan Homogenized Semi-Fat Yoghurt 500 Gram” under the brand “Arslan”, launched by the company and on the market shelves, was in violation of the legislation.
FAT RATE WAS LOW
It was determined that the yoghurt offered to consumers with the phrase “Half Fat” was below the legally required minimum fat content. This fraud was detected in the packages of yoghurt with batch/serial number 309.1 produced in the Tekirdağ/Ergene location.
