In addition to being a special envoy, Jeff Landry is also the governor of the state of Louisiana.

In May, he visited Greenland in connection with the Future Greenland business fair in Nuuk, and here Landry also met with the chairman of Naalakkersuisut, Jens-Frederik Nielsen (D) and naalakkersuisoq for foreign affairs, Múte B. Egede (IA).
