For the second year in a row, the high school graduates took the matriculation exam in large rooms, ie amphitheatres, halls and halls, in order to make the process more objective. However, as the director of the State Examination Center, Daniela Jovchevska Mihajlovska, informed, 60 students were found using mobile phones, reports the agency. Meta.
“The results will be announced no later than July 11, that is, one month after the last external exam. The next exam is in the August exam period. During the June exam, about 60 students were found with mobile phones and were removed from the exam. Their tests have been canceled, which means they have a unit. If they did not misbehave with the tester or the observer, they will be able to take the exam in August, otherwise they will be banned. to take the exam in August and they will be able to take the exam only next year”, says director Mihajlovska.
On June 6, the students took English, German, French, Italian or Russian language, as well as mathematics (depending on who chose what), and the second external exam in mother tongue was conducted on June 11 and 12.
This year, the state matriculation, state vocational matriculation and state art matriculation exams are being implemented according to the new concept with modified exam programs for students from vocational and artistic education, while the same exam programs remain for high school students.
The tests for the subjects were not the same for all students as before, but this year for the first time the students took the tests according to the curricula for high school, professional and artistic education.
The state matriculation exam remains a requirement for university admission. With a passed state professional matriculation, students will be able to enroll in related professional faculties, and with a state art matriculation, students will be able to continue in related professional studies as well.
The Minister of Education and Science, Vesna Janevska, assessed that the organization of the exams this year was at a high level, with most of the students taking the exams conscientiously and without abuse.
