The accident took place in Turgutlu location on Samsun-Ordu highway in Çarşamba district. The car with plate number 55 DP 123, driven by AD (30), heading towards Samsun, hit the truck with foreign plate number 16 54 TAG, driven by AC (36), from behind.
Health, gendarmerie and police teams were dispatched to the scene of the accident upon the notice of the surrounding people. AC and AD were injured in the accident. While AC was taken to Çarşamba State Hospital, AD, whose condition was serious, was transferred to Samsun City Hospital.
