Today, the people of the Shibam Kawkaban, Al-Taweelah, Haffash, Al-Khabt, Bani Saad and Malhan districts in Al-Mahwit Governorate organized a massive march to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, under the slogan “Humiliation is far from us.”
The participants in the march, which was led by governorate deputies, local, executive and security leaders, directors of directorates and executive offices, sheikhs, notables and social figures, raised banners expressing the greatness of the occasion, chanting slogans emphasizing the continuation of the path of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, in confronting injustice and tyranny and adhering to the values of pride, dignity and freedom.
They emphasized that commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Hussein represents a faith and educational station to draw inspiration from his immortal revolution, which embodied the highest meanings of sacrifice, redemption and steadfastness in the face of the forces of arrogance and deviation, noting that Imam Hussein’s approach will remain a source of inspiration for free people in different eras.
At the event, speeches were delivered indicating the importance of commemorating this anniversary because of the great implications it holds in consolidating the values of steadfastness, sacrifice, and standing by the nation’s just causes, stressing that the tragedy of Karbala will remain a witness to the extent of the injustice and crime to which Imam Hussein and his family were subjected.
The words linked what happened in Karbala to the crimes of killing, siege and starvation that the Yemeni and Palestinian people are being subjected to, pointing out that the forces of arrogance, led by the United States and the Zionist entity, continue the approach of tyrants in targeting free peoples seeking liberation and independence.
She stressed that the position of the Yemeni people in supporting and aiding the Palestinian people and their valiant resistance stems from their religious, moral and humanitarian commitment towards the Palestinian issue, and from their belief in the justice of this issue and the necessity of standing up to the Zionist occupation and its aggressive plans.
She considered commemorating the anniversary an expression of loyalty and connection to the family of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace, and an embodiment of following their approach based on supporting truth, confronting falsehood, and confronting tyranny and arrogance.
The participants reiterated their high readiness and readiness to implement any options or directives to confront the current challenges and defend the nation, its sovereignty and independence, announcing the continuation of general mobilization and raising the level of readiness in various fields.
They declared their permanent readiness to deal with any developments or escalation that might target the peoples of the Islamic nation or any arena of jihad and resistance, affirming the steadfastness of their position in supporting the nation’s issues and confronting the projects of hegemony and arrogance, and continuing steadfastly in defending the nation’s dignity and sovereignty.
The crowds affirmed their full readiness to proceed in the face of aggression, siege and occupation, in a way that enables the Yemeni people to achieve their legitimate rights to freedom, independence and national sovereignty, benefit from their wealth and resources and live with pride and dignity.
It announced the continuation of the general mobilization and comprehensive mobilization, the provision of rehabilitation, training and awareness programs, and the implementation of various mobilization and mass activities, renewing its mandate to the leader of the revolution, Mr. Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, to make appropriate choices to confront the current challenges, and its readiness to implement those choices with all responsibility and consistency.
The march confirmed that the Yemeni people will remain committed to the principles and values embodied by Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, and will continue on the path of pride, dignity and independence, no matter how great the challenges and conspiracies targeting the nation and its free peoples are.
