The seventh edition of ‘Quisqueya is fashion (QEM)’ will be held on September 19, 2026 in New York City, within the framework of New York Fashion Week.
As part of this edition, QEM will pay tribute to the designer Robert Floresto the cultural manager Divine Light Escoto and the visionary producer Tuto Taveras. With the aim of recognizing their valuable contributions and trajectories, which have positively impacted the Dominican community inside and outside the country.
Likewise, the designer Pedro Voigh, the interior designer Modesta Castro, the educator Miltha Bergés and the author Gladys Cáceres (Ecuador) will receive special recognitions. Figures who have left a significant mark in their respective areas of work, and who represent the talent, excellence and commitment of the Dominican diaspora.
The catwalk will feature the participation of renowned designers and creative houses, including Robert Flores, Giannina Azar, Mirtha Nina, Belkis Concepción, Maryvic Pimentel, Noel Newman, Deicy Campusano and Glady Marrero. In addition to a collective of Upcyclers designers and a representation of the Mercy Jáquez Higher Technical Institute.
