When there are two matches of World Cup at the same time, one will be shown by SIGMA and the other by HTV Sigma, giving fans the opportunity to watch both matches in parallel.

According to a post by the CEO of Hellas Sat, Christoforos Protopapas, the HTV Sigma channel will be available on the CYTAVISION, CABLENET and PRIMETEL platforms: “After consultation with Chrysantho Tsouroulis of Sigma, without giving up the rights of Hellas Sat, and as an offer to the Cypriot fans, we will give permission to the CYTAVISION, CABLE NET and PRIMETEL platforms to broadcast our temporary channel HTV on the days of the World Cup and until June 30 when the transition period ends.”
The first matches scheduled to be broadcast by HTV Sigma are Bosnia v Qatar (22:00), Morocco v Haiti (1:00) and South Africa v South Korea (1:00). Sigma will broadcast the matches Switzerland – Canada (22:00), Scotland – Brazil (1:00) and Czech Republic – Mexico (4:00).
