Rains, some improvements and the coldest day of the month: meteorologists’ forecast for this week

Meteorologists provided details about the current climate situation that the country is going through, with rains and storms in the southern zone, and explained what the weather will be like for the next few days.

On his X account, meteorologist Mario Bidegain shared an image based on the “GOES19” model of this day that shows the presence of a “atmospheric disturbance” that has affected the country for several hours.

In an interview with this medium, the expert deepened his warning and announced that in the next few hours we can expect the first improvements in the state of the climate.

Despite this, as a result of today’s rainfall, temperatures will fall tomorrow with maximums that will have a “slight” decline and some minimums that will register a “a little more important” drop.

“On Wednesday we will be at a minimum of 15°C. Between Thursday and Saturday temperatures will reach 12 degreeswith much more autumnal values,” he explained.

After several days without rain, the expert expects new episodes of precipitation for Sunday, which will finally lead to a fall of the maximums.

“Starting on Monday we have a drop with figures that will go from 20, 21 °C to 14, 15 °C”he said and revealed that that day will be the “colder” of the month.

Serra and Cisneros’s prognosis

For his part, also in conversation with The Observermeteorologist José Serra explained that Uruguay is currently affected by a “surface high pressure system” what is generating “some rain and storms“, especially in the southern area.

These bad conditions, he explained, will improve as the hours go by, although temperatures will remain low, with maximums of 21 °C in the capital.

Looking ahead to Wednesday, the expert predicts a start to the day with cloudy to somewhat cloudy skies and temperatures that will range from 16 at 23 °C.

Then, on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, the weather would continue stable, without rain, with minimums that will move between 11 and 15 °C and maximums of between 21 and 23 °C.

Finally, and in a similar forecast, meteorologist Nubel Cisneros warned in dialogue with this medium that the bad weather this day will already register its first improvements towards tonight.

“We are going to notice that the weather is beginning to improve in the southwest, cloudiness is decreasing, humidity is also decreasing, and temperatures are also dropping. Starting tomorrow the conditions will be stable weather“he assured.
