SPLIT – An Air Serbia plane landed on the island of Brač for the first time, thus officially opening a new seasonal airline that directly connects Belgrade with one of the most visited tourist destinations on the Adriatic, reports Dalmacija today.
The new line enables a much faster journey to the famous Zlatni Rat beach, with a flight duration of about one hour and 20 minutes, instead of several hours of travel by land and ferry.
Twice a week
Flights will be operated twice a Sunday, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and the seasonal route will be active until September 12.
The Air Serbia company announced earlier that, as of yesterday, it has officially established a direct airline between Belgrade and the island of Brač, one of the most famous summer resorts on the Adriatic coast, reports Dalmatia today.
Director of Commercial and Strategy of the Serbian airline Boško Rupić assessed that the introduction of direct flights between Belgrade and Brač further expands the offer to attractive Adriatic destinations, and enables passengers to get to one of the most famous islands in Croatia more easily, reports Tanjug.
As Rupić said, the introduction of direct flights between Belgrade and Brač further expands the offer to attractive Adriatic destinations, and enables travelers to get to one of the most famous islands in Croatia more easily.
Beautiful beaches
“Brač is a destination that combines beautiful beaches, a rich tourist offer and numerous opportunities for an active vacation. We believe that the new seasonal line will be interesting for travelers from Serbia and the region, but also for travelers from our wider network who want to continue their journey to the Adriatic via Belgrade,” Rupić said, reports Tanjug.
As stated, thanks to the good connection of the island with other places on the Dalmatian coast, the new line provides passengers with additional flexibility when planning summer vacations and short vacations.
“In addition to Bol and Zlatni Rat beach, Brač also offers numerous authentic seaside towns, cultural and historical sights and natural beauty. The new airline allows passengers numerous connections via Belgrade to destinations from the wide Air Serbia network, such as Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, Copenhagen, Rome, Frankfurt, Milan, Oslo, Prague, Vienna, Zurich and many others,” the announcement states.
