The Passports Department issues (12,371) administrative decisions against violators of residency, work, and border security regulations.
The General Directorate of Passports, through its administrative committees in the various regional passport departments, issued (12,371) administrative decisions in the month of Dhul-Hijjah 1447 AH, against citizens and residents for violating the residency, work, and border security regulations. The penalties varied between imprisonment, a fine, and deportation.
The Passport Department stressed that all citizens, residents, establishment owners, and individuals must not transport, employ, or harbor violators of the residency, work, and border security regulations, or cover up for them, or provide any means of assistance to them in finding work, housing, or transportation opportunities.
It called for cooperation and reporting of violators of residency, work, and border security regulations by calling the number (911) in the regions of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Medina, Riyadh, and Al-Sharqiyah, and the number (999) in the rest of the Kingdom’s regions. All reports will be treated with complete confidentiality, without any responsibility on the part of the whistleblower.
