The last matches of the 2025-2026 Men’s National League were played on Sunday. The season ended with Dinamo Bucharest champion. In the women’s category, the season ended the previous day, with the title returning for the first time to the Gloria Bistrița team.
The results recorded in the last stage of the Men’s National League are: CSM Bucharest – Minaur Baia Mare 33-29, Potaissa Turda – CSM Vaslui 31-30, CSM Sighișoara – SCM Poli Timișoara 30-35, HC Buzău – “U” Cluj 47-24. In advance, the match between CSM Constanța and CSU Suceava was played 26-24. Dinamo Bucharest, already champion and award winner, “stayed” in the last round.
The podium for the 2025-2026 season is occupied, in order, by Dinamo Bucharest (34 points), HC Buzău (28) and CSM Bucharest (27).
In the women’s, the curtain went down the previous day. The 2025-2026 season ended with Gloria Bistrița as the first champion (42 points), followed on the podium by CSM Bucharest (41) and Corona Brașov (30).
Both champions from 2026 succeeded in the event, also conquering the Romanian Cup.
For the CSM Bucharest women’s team, the peak of the season follows: participation in the Final Four Tournament of the Champions League (June 6-7, Budapest), for which it qualified after 8 years since the last similar performance.
The maintenance/promotion tournaments in the National League, for women and men, will take place in Brașov, between May 29-31.
