Bitter news comes from Croatia about the “allowance” of our fellow citizens. The portal there Index reports on two incidents involving Slovenian citizens. In the first case, the 53-year-old man was caught masturbating publicly on the open balcony of a building in the Voštarnica district of Zadar. This was followed by a report to the police, who also found cocaine in his possession.
The man was taken to the police station and then to a judge. After questioning, he was found guilty of violating the Law on Public Order and Peace and the Law on Drug Abuse. He took it away only with a fine of 866 euros. The amount of cocaine found on him was small.
A new incident in Mali Lošinj
Today, the same portal reports on a new incident in one of the bars in Mali Lošinj. The police officers there carried out a criminal investigation against a 27-year-old citizen of Slovenia for several offenses against public order and peace, criminal acts of threatening an official and damaging another’s property.

The police arrested him and took him to police premises, and drug testing showed the presence of cocaine in his system. During his detention, he continued his aggressive behavior, vandalized and damaged inventory, and made serious death threats and insults to the police officers present.
After the investigation was completed, the suspect was handed over to the custody supervisor of the Primorsko-Goranska Police Department in Reka yesterday evening. Appropriate complaints were filed with the competent state prosecutor’s office and the court. He was also brought before the court today, and then he was released after security measures were imposed.
