Important points:
1. The only official channel for processing pass requests is the website and email.
2. Valid and available ship contact routes must be provided in the submitted request.
3. In order to avoid delays at the entrance or exit of the Strait of Hormuz, it is necessary to send a request for passage with complete information required at least 48 hours before reaching the Strait.
4. During the 60-day period (negotiation period with America), no fees will be charged from the ships and the tariff for security, safety and environmental services as well as the relevant Iranian insurance will be borne by the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
5. Due to the special conditions and the presence of some safety hazards in the crossing route and due to the need to ensure safe and secure traffic and prevent maritime accidents, coordination of the route and the announced time of passage for each ship before moving towards the strait is necessary, and the responsibility for not complying with these matters rests with the ship owner.
