Macedonia could also get a winner in the music show “Hype Stars”after the 25-year-old tattoo artist David Grujevski managed to make it to the grand final of the regional television project. Under the motto “the sound of new generations”, the competition, which aims to discover new musical talents, will have its finale on Sunday, June 28.
What is interesting is that the young Grujevski enters the final night as the runner-up out of a total of 11 contestants.
He secured the placement in the final itself in the semi-finals, where in front of the jury and the audience presented himself with a performance of the famous song by Mišo Kovacs, “Ostala si uvige ista”.
Earlier, in the quarter-final stage of the show, he performed with the rock ballad “Dođi” from the group “Parni valjak“, while in the second round he performed the composition “Kao moja mati”, which was sung by the legendary Zdravko Čolić in 2006.
At the very beginning of the competition, that is, in the first round, David presented himself to the public with two songs – the song “Bolish” by Mirza Selimović and the Macedonian folk song “Jovano, Jovanke”.
This announcement comes on the heels of another huge success, after Bojan Ilievski won “Grand Stars” with over 50,000 votes yesterday. Macedonians and fans of David “cross their fingers” and hope that Grujevski will be able to achieve the same success at “Hype Nbu”.
