The armed forces of Ukraine, which during the night between Saturday and Sunday targeted the oil terminals in the Kerch region of the occupied Crimea, announced possible attacks on the Crimean bridge, reported “Kyivpost”.
“No, we are not alluding to anything, but during the night, from close up and from different angles, we saw the Crimean bridge,” the Unmanned Systems Force said.
They released a photo showing that the affected location is very close to the Crimean Bridge.
The Crimean bridge crosses the Kerch Strait, a 35-kilometer waterway that connects the Black and Azov Seas and separates eastern Crimea from Russia’s Taman Peninsula.

However, leaving is currently not so easy. There are no tickets available, trains are being cancelled, and there is a massive traffic jam on the bridge. pic.twitter.com/HhUvMEhdrT

The bridge is a key logistics corridor for Moscow.
Ukraine is stepping up medium-range drone strikes
Crimea is a strategically important area from which Moscow’s forces have launched attacks on the rest of Ukraine. It is also a popular summer destination for Russians, some of whom have reported having difficulty finding fuel to get home.
Gas stations in Crimea have been ordered to completely stop selling fuel to civilians as Ukraine steps up medium-range drone attacks on energy infrastructure across the peninsula.
– The fuel will be issued only to the state services that ensure the vital functions and security of the Republic of Crimea – said Sergey Aksyonov, the Russian governor of the occupied Crimea.
The announcement followed overnight Ukrainian attacks on the peninsula’s oil infrastructure. Drone attacks on Russian energy facilities have become an important part of Kiev’s strategy in the war, aimed at weakening Moscow’s capacity to wage war and bringing the reality of war closer to Russian citizens.
Last night, our long-range sanctions targeted the occupiers’ military logistics, oil industry, and air defense. All of this is a just response to Russia’s brutal attacks against our people. – Our sanctions hit military logistics, the oil industry and the air defense of the occupier. Facilities on both sides of the Crimean bridge were affected: the maritime logistics used for the transportation of oil in the Krasnodar Territory, as well as an oil storage facility in the temporarily occupied Kerch – said Zelensky.
He added that military logistics facilities were also successfully hit, along with four S-400 air defense system radar stations and two Panzer air defense systems.
Waves of Ukrainian medium-range drone strikes in recent weeks have targeted occupied Crimea. “Kiev wants to turn the peninsula into an ‘island’ by attacking Russian supply chains in order to isolate Crimea from mainland Russia,” Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov said.
