As reported by the General Assistance Center, on June 21 around 3 p.m. 04 min. a report was received that a person was injured in a traffic accident in Šilute, Pramonės St.
Šilutė fire rescue forces of the Klaipėda Fire Rescue Board were sent to the scene.
Information about the incident was transferred to the Klaipėda emergency medical station and the Tauragė county chief police commissariat.
According to preliminary data, the Opel Astra car hit the curb and rolled over. After the accident, the driver of 26 was trapped in the car, so he was driven by firefighters.
When firefighters arrived, the man was unconscious.
It turns out that the driver of the car probably does not have the right to drive. Besides, he could still be drunk. These two circumstances are being clarified by police officers. The man’s exact level of drunkenness will be revealed after a blood test.
The incident is under investigation.
