The Government of Andorra has approved the payment of different lines of aid intended for the primary sector, with a total amount greater than 360,000 euros.
On the one hand, the executive has validated the settlements corresponding to the aid to the animal welfare bonus for 2026, with 262,577.31 euros intended for the country’s livestock farms. The figure represents an increase of close to 3% with respect to the previous exercise.
This line seeks to encourage animal husbandry practices that are more respectful of animal welfare and move towards a quality and sustainable production model.
On the other hand, the Government also approved 100,773.37 euros in grants corresponding to 2025 to promote specific agricultural practices for the maintenance of the natural environment. In this case, the amount grows by one 18% compared to the previous year.
The executive emphasizes that these grants recognize the role of agricultural and livestock farms in the conservation of the landscape, biodiversity and the prevention of natural risks.
