The biggest attack with drones of the last two years launched today the Ukraine at Moscowaccording to the Russian state news agency TASS.
The airstrike is part of a wider Ukrainian offensive across much of Russian territory, with the Russian Defense Ministry citing the intercepted 555 drones.

Among the targets hit was one oil refinery in Moscow. The attack on that particular target was the second in just a few days and resulted in the shutdown of operations at the refinery.
After the attack, flames and thick black clouds of smoke towered over the southeastern Kapotnia region, where the refinery is located.

After the strikes at the refinery, residents of Moscow began to talk about “oil rain» in various areas of the Russian capital. Photos and videos with black spots after rain have flooded social media.
Many residents of the city also report on social networks that they received no warning for the large-scale drone attack.

According to residents of Zheleznodorozhny, dark traces resembling soot or petroleum products were left on cars, windowsills, and other surfaces after the rainfall.

Meanwhile, flights at all major Moscow airports were suspended temporarilyaccording to Reuters and the Russian Civil Aviation Service.
Based on the Russian authorities, from the Ukrainian attacks 16 people were injured.
