Bláa lónid hf. has signed an agreement on a merger with Arctic Adventures hf. The agreement is made subject to due diligence on both companies, the approval of the Competition Authority and the approval of the companies’ shareholders’ meetings.
“Bláa lónid is the parent company of powerful and leading companies in the field of experiential tourism, health and wellness, while Arctic Adventures specializes in the field of adventure and recreational tourism in Iceland and operates, among other things, popular destinations such as Fjaðrárgljúfur, Kerið and Raufarhólshelli,” says the press release.
The merger will create a dynamic tourism company that will be a leading force in the operation and development of Icelandic experiential and wellness tourism.
