A 4-year-old child was killed by a dog in Buzău. Authorities are trying to determine how the tragedy was possible

A tragedy that happened in Buzău county shocked an entire community, after an almost four-year-old child died as a result of a attack of a shepherd dog. The incident occurred near a barn in the town of Limpeziș, and the authorities are now trying to establish the exact circumstances in which the drama occurred.

The child would have entered a yard where there was a large dog. Neighbors say they heard a lot of noise, dogs barking and later entered the yard, but they already found the child with several bites of this animal tied up.

Several police officers arrived at the scene, including from the Animal Police, as well as medical crews. The child could no longer be saved. The ambulance that arrived at the scene picked up the child’s mother, who was transported to the hospital. The woman suffered several panic attacks and was later discharged.
