Today, Tuesday, dozens of Zionist settlers stormed the courtyards of the Blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque in the occupied city of Jerusalem, with the support of the Zionist occupation police, according to what was reported by the Palestinian Wafa Agency.
The Jerusalem Governorate reported that settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque in successive groups and carried out provocative tours in its courtyards and performed Talmudic rituals amid security measures imposed by the occupation police around and inside the mosque.
The courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque frequently witness incursions by settlers under the protection of the occupation forces, which raises a state of tension in the Holy City, in light of the continued restrictions imposed on Palestinians’ entry into the mosque.
Palestinian calls continue to mobilize and travel to Al-Aqsa Mosque, to thwart the plans of the occupation and its settlers against the mosque. The attacks on Al-Aqsa Mosque have intensified recently, amid Jerusalemite warnings of escalating Judaization plans aimed at imposing a new reality by force inside the mosque, and consolidating the occupation’s control over the Islamic holy sites in Jerusalem.
