Weather conditions remain unstable and today rainfall and occasional thunderstorms would again be recorded in much of the country. Three departments are on alert for possible “severe weather phenomena” in the coming hours.
In its forecast this Tuesday, the Directorate of Meteorology and Hydrology announces a warm day with mostly cloudy skies, variable winds, rains and occasional thunderstorms in most of the Paraguayan territory, including Assumption.
Since shortly after 4:00, an alert of possible “severe weather phenomena” – “moderate to strong” rains and storms – has been active for the three departments of Chaco: Alto Paraguay, Anchovy and the center and north of President Hayes.
The weather is expected to remain unsettled over the next few days, with more precipitation and storms expected tomorrow and at least through Thursday.
The temperature today and during the next few days
The atmosphere remains warm, although with lower rates than those of recent days. Today maximum temperatures are expected to be 25 degrees Celsius in Asunción and Encarnación26 in Ciudad del Este and up to 33 in Chaco.
The indices would rise slightly tomorrow, with a maximum of 28 degrees in the capital. On Thursday, the maximum in Asunción would be 27 degrees.
