The Libyan Red Crescent announced the recovery of a body believed to be that of a migrant off the coast of Sabratha on Wednesday.
According to the organization, its recovery team responded to a report, retrieved the body, and transferred it to the competent authorities in line with established procedures.
Separately, the Red Crescent’s emergency and body recovery team in Zawiya took part in the burial of 25 unidentified bodies after the completion of all required legal and medical procedures.
