The journey that follows is through an Alcantara from 6000 years ago. Where today there is a car park, right in front of the CUF Tejo hospital, with buildings and roads around it, there should be an area of beach and vegetation. And in front of anyone standing there would be the water of the Tagus estuary. Now, in an area of tar pavement, a representation of Lisbon’s estuarine coastline is being drawn, taking us back to that past thousands of years old.
