Member of Parliament Dalija Oreskovic she stood up for herself Sandra Benčić, who got angry yesterday because of the way in which the HDZ included the debate on candidates for judges of the Constitutional Court at the last minute on the agenda of the parliamentary committee. She believed that the procedure was carried out too quickly and accused the authorities of behaving like “road robbers” in that procedure. After the session, she was recorded saying the word “cattle” when leaving the hall.
“And what do they think we think of them? That they are statesmen? That they are flowers? Are they really so inoculated from shame, from reality? Benčić is neither the first, nor the only, nor the last one to have some word describing what the HDZ is doing to Croatia slipped down their chins. Just today they turned on Benčić because of that one word,” she wrote on Facebook.
Then, speaking of “garbage”, she referred to the affair in Gospić, which led to the arrest of HDZ’s chief state inspector. Andrija Mikulić.
“So speaking of garbage, HDZ members, what about that illegal, toxic, cancerous garbage that you unloaded in Gospić? That garbage that got your chief state inspector in custody. What about other illegal landfills that your government sowed, Croatia is full of them? It bothers you when the opposition tells you what’s going on, then you pretend to be nice. You turned everything you touched into garbage. It hurts us,” she added. is.
Sandra Benčić: ‘Yes, I said ‘cattle’. It referred to HDZ’
At the end, she wrote that Benčić did not need a long explanation of why she called the HDZ members cattle.
“Benčić did not say that you are trash, but that you are cattle. She did not need to write such an explanatory report on Facebook, you know what she meant. The only question is: ‘Is it cattle with small teeth or racial cattle that knows what its country is?'”
The HDZ also announced about everything yesterday.
In a post on Facebook, they wrote that “this is an indicator of how we can treat our junior partners.”
“If we are “cattle”, then it is also SDP’s Saša Đujić – with whose approval the item on candidates for #USUD was included in today’s session of the Committee on the Constitution. And this is an indicator of how we can treat our junior partners. We will not return insults to Ms. Benčić – although she even justifies her vulgar, exclusive statement. Suffice it to say that she once again showed her true face. Apology? We didn’t even expect her – insults and lies are her usual discourse”, is the message from HDZ.
