The most common saying is “pay and be mocked”, and when it comes to the Žnjan project, it seems that someone is honestly mocking the people of Split. A year has passed since the opening of the project worth more than 52 million euros, Split’s Copacabana, the most beautiful beach in the Mediterranean, as the former mayor claimed.
The public talked about Žnjan as a victim of the election, and a few months later it was compared to the Kalahari desert because of the dried greenery. The problems continued: the concrete on the walkway cracked, the irrigation system did not work, the catering facilities do not have access points, the ski jumps do not have stairs, even the locks on the changing rooms do not work.
Given that Žnjan’s first birthday is approaching and that he received new leadership about 30 days ago, we talked with the director about correcting mistakes and plans Toni Jurišić Sokić and president of the Supervisory Board of the company “Žnjan” Lidija Bekavac.
