    The United States revealed new details about the strikes it carried out inside Iran during the past hours, announcing the publication of video clips of the operation, and confirming that the attacks targeted air defense systems and military surveillance and communications centers, which it said posed a threat to American forces and maritime traffic.

    The US Army announced the publication of video clips of the strikes it carried out against targets inside Iran, in a move aimed at showing the details of the military operation that was carried out during the night.

    US Central Command confirmed that US forces “ended their defensive strikes” inside Iran, noting that the operation came in response to what it described as “continuous and unjustified Iranian aggression.”

    Targeting air defenses and communications

    The Central Command explained that the strikes targeted Iranian military surveillance capabilities and communications systems, in addition to air defense sites in different regions of the country.

    She said that the operation included additional strikes in “self-defense” that targeted multiple locations, stressing that the American forces completed all previously specified objectives.

    She added that the targets that were bombed represented a direct threat to American forces and commercial ships operating in the region.

    “Precise targets” with high readiness capabilities

    The Central Command confirmed that its forces were fully alert and prepared to carry out the operation, noting that it fired precision-guided munitions against carefully selected Iranian targets.

    She stressed that the strikes came within the framework of protecting American forces and ensuring the security of maritime navigation, stressing that they have the ability to carry out decisive operations whenever necessary.

    Explosions in the vicinity of Tehran and other cities

    On the other hand, Iranian media reported hearing explosions in several areas, including the vicinity of Tehran and Karaj, west of the capital, in addition to reports of explosions near the cities of Shahriar and Varamin.

    Iranian reports also spoke of hearing explosions in the vicinity of the port of Sirik and Bandar Abbas in the south of the country, while Mehr Agency indicated that the sounds of explosions heard in Varamin resulted from attacks that occurred at long distances from the city.

    Huge military budget

    In conjunction with developments on the ground, US President Donald Trump called on Republicans in Congress to expedite the approval of the anticipated military budget bill, amounting to $350 billion, stressing the importance of strengthening US defense capabilities in light of the accelerating regional escalation.

    Explosions Around Tehran and Other Cities

    Meanwhile, Iranian media reported hearing explosions in several areas, including around Tehran and Karaj west of the capital, in addition to reports of explosions near the cities of Shahriar and Varamin.

    Iranian reports also mentioned hearing explosions around the Sirik port and Bandar Abbas in the south of the country, while the “Mehr” agency indicated that the sounds of explosions heard in Varamin were due to attacks that occurred at a distance from the city.

    Massive Military Budget

    In conjunction with the field developments, President Donald Trump urged Republicans in Congress to expedite the approval of the anticipated military budget bill, valued at $350 billion, emphasizing the importance of enhancing American defensive capabilities amid escalating regional tensions.
