The Ministry of Public Works and Housing completed the maintenance project for a section of the main road in Deir Alla District, with a length of (2) km.
According to a statement by the Ministry on Tuesday, the work included scraping the old asphalt mixture layer, spreading a new layer of hot asphalt mixture, in addition to enhancing traffic safety and raising road efficiency by planning white and yellow lanes and installing ground reflectors.
The Ministry began work on the project at the beginning of last April, and it was completed before the specified contractual period.
These projects are part of the Ministry’s periodic plans to rehabilitate roads, ensure the sustainability of infrastructure, and ensure safe transportation for citizens by raising the efficiency of the road network in the governorate and enhancing safety standards on them, in completion of the Ministry’s annual program to develop vital roads.
