The Tax and Customs Authority announced the opening of registration for all-wheel drive cars and 7-seat buses, as well as cars and equipment of American origin that carry the American mark arriving at the ports and registration committees.
A statement issued by the Authority explained that the demarcation of these cars and equipment comes as a translation of the directives of the political leadership aimed at finding solutions and remedies, taking into account the circumstances of citizens.
She indicated that the demarcation process will take place according to specific mechanisms during the months of June and July 2026.
The Tax and Customs Authority pointed out that a reduction in the import ban fine will be granted during the June-July 2026 grace period, and the value will be calculated according to the official exchange rate, in addition to the demarcation after the end of the grace period. The customs value will be calculated according to the exchange rate prevailing in the market, with an import ban fine imposed.
The Authority called on the owners of these cars and equipment to seize the opportunity and settle their situations during the specified period.
