A meeting was devoted to the main planning team at the Ministry of Oil and Minerals, headed by Deputy Minister of Oil Muhammad Al-Najjar, to discuss the projects added to the plan of the Ministry and its affiliated units for the year 1448 AH.
The meeting reviewed the proposed projects included in the plan, as well as the observations submitted by the planning sector regarding the projects of the 1448 AH plan, with the aim of reviewing them and completing the necessary technical and planning requirements to ensure the quality of project preparation and their alignment with the strategic objectives of the Ministry and its subordinate units.
It was also agreed to coordinate to hold a joint meeting with those concerned in the planning sector after completing the discussion of observations with the affiliated units, in order to review the final outputs and complete the necessary procedures related to the Ministry’s plan for the year 1448 AH.
The Deputy Minister of Oil and Minerals stressed the importance of strengthening coordination between the various parties concerned with the planning process, and working to address the comments submitted in a way that contributes to developing plans and projects and achieving the highest levels of efficiency in their preparation and implementation.
He urged the importance of holding meetings with the units affiliated with the Ministry to discuss the observations related to each project separately, which allows studying the technical and planning aspects in more detail, and arriving at the appropriate treatments for each project.
