The Libyan Industry Union (LIU) announced last Thursday (4 June) the launch of the “Made in Libya” electronic platform, following its approval by the Minister of Economy and Trade. The initiative represents a new beginning for the future of digital industry in Libya, the LIU said.
This national digital platform, wholly owned by the LIU and under the supervision and monitoring of the Ministry of Economy and Trade, represents the first executive step towards realizing the LIU’s vision of supporting the digital transformation of the industrial sector and enhancing the standing of national products.
The LIU said the launch of this platform is not merely the inauguration of a website, but rather the establishment of a new phase managed by national minds and a modern vision, aimed at supporting Libyan industry and connecting factories, companies, and markets within a sophisticated digital system that keeps pace with modern economic transformations.
The LIU said this initiative comes within the framework of its efforts to promote its national slogan: Made in Libya – as a symbol of quality, production, and development.
From this perspective, the LIU invites all factory owners, production companies, and agents throughout the country to register and join the platform, and to contribute to this qualitative transformation that opens new horizons for the national economy and Libyan industry.
