Yesterday afternoon, the Zagreb police arrested a 30-year-old man on Peščenica after citizens reported that he was sitting in the park with an explosive device in his hand, they write. Croatian media.
The later check determined that it was a fugitive for whom as many as five warrants had already been issued and who was previously well known to the police for numerous crimes and misdemeanors.
Although the police did not specify the type of device in the official announcement, Croatian media unofficially learned that the man had a bomb with him.
The police received a report about a man sitting on a park bench on Andrilovechka Street with a suspicious device around 5:15 p.m.
The patrols immediately went to the field and found a man who completely matched the description.
In addition to the explosive device, which was immediately taken from him, the police officers also found two sharp objects with him. During the arrest, it was also established that the 30-year-old was in a state of heavy drunkenness.
During the procedure, the 30-year-old’s alcohol concentration was measured at 2.14 per thousand, after which he was kept in the police premises until he sobered up, and then he was taken to prison.
