The driver of the Trekhaus team, the Spaniard Raul Fernandes, is the winner of today’s sprint race, which was run as part of the Italian Grand Prix in the Moto GP championship.
Fernandes won the first sprint victory in his career on the track in Mugel. He achieved a time of 19:28.40.
The second was his compatriot Jorge Martin from Aprilia, and the third place went to the driver of the VR46 team, the Italian Fabio di Gianantoni. The fourth position was won by Italian Marko Beceki from Aprilia, and the fifth place was taken by Ducati rider Mark Marquez from Spain, reports Tanjug.
Beceki is currently the leader in the overall ranking of drivers with 148 points, Martin is second with 136, and Đanantonio is in third place with 123.
The main race for the Italian Grand Prix will be held tomorrow from 2 p.m.
