According to the Bureau of National Statistics, the largest share in the industrial structure was accounted for by the manufacturing sector – 7.56 trillion tenge. The mining industry generated 6.24 trillion tenge, production in the energy supply sector – 1.24 trillion tenge, water supply and waste disposal – 127.6 billion tenge.
Regionally, Atyrau region became the leader in industrial production volume – 2.60 trillion tenge. This is followed by Karaganda (1.30 trillion), Pavlodar (1.08 trillion), Mangistau (977.9 billion), West Kazakhstan (889.1 billion) regions, as well as the cities of Astana (986.9 billion) and Almaty (701.8 billion tenge).
Significant volumes were also recorded in the East Kazakhstan region (805.8 billion tenge), Abay region (799.8 billion), Kostanay (740.8 billion) and Aktobe (726.3 billion tenge).
In physical terms, over the three months of 2026, the country produced 28.8 million tons of coal, 19.7 million tons of crude oil and 13.4 billion cubic meters of natural gas. It also produced 37.7 million tons of copper ore and 12.7 million tons of iron ore.
In the metallurgical sector, the output of crude steel amounted to 1.04 million tons, refined copper – 117.6 thousand tons, refined gold – 12.9 tons, silver – 146.6 tons.
In mechanical engineering, the production of 42.1 thousand passenger cars and 4.4 thousand electrical transformers was recorded.
The food industry produced more than 1 million tons of flour, 121.5 thousand tons of bread, 17.9 thousand tons of meat, 164.6 thousand tons of dairy products and 201.8 thousand tons of sunflower oil. Beer output amounted to 118.9 million liters.
The construction industry produced 2.65 million tons of cement and more than 4.65 million tons of ready-mixed concrete, as well as 579 thousand tons of sulfuric acid.
In the energy sector, 33.55 billion kWh of electricity and 39.2 million Gcal of thermal energy were generated. The volume of natural water production amounted to 647.2 million cubic meters.
Let us recall that based on the results of January–December 2025, the cumulative growth of the manufacturing industry made up 6.4%.
