The foreign ministers of Turkey, Pakistan, Egypt and Saudi Arabia will meet in Antalya on the sidelines of a diplomatic forum to discuss the regional situation, including the war around Iran, Reuters reports, citing a Turkish diplomatic source.
According to him, the parties intend to discuss the development of regional solutions to key crises, including the conflict between the United States, Israel and Iran, within the framework of an approach based on “regional responsibility.”
Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who is mediating talks between the US and Iran, is also expected to attend the meeting.
Ankara emphasizes that it continues to support the negotiation process between Washington and Tehran and counts on the constructive position of the parties to achieve a sustainable truce and subsequent peace.
Ministers from these four countries previously met in a similar format in March, holding at least two meetings as part of efforts to mediate and coordinate approaches to resolving the conflict over Iran.

According to observers, this format of interaction between Turkey, Pakistan, Egypt and Saudi Arabia is seen as an attempt to develop an independent regional diplomatic platform against the backdrop of a protracted crisis.
US and Iranian officials were considering returning to Pakistan for further talks as early as this weekend after talks that ended without a breakthrough on Sunday were called off.
