Doha – Al Raya:
Al-Wakrah Club announced the dissolution of all the club’s sports equipment, as of May 31, 2026.
In accordance with the decision issued by His Excellency Sheikh Saud bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, President of the Club, all tasks, assignments and powers granted to the various sports bodies shall end, unless another decision is issued in this regard.
The statement said: “The general director of the club and the competent authorities are charged with implementing this decision, each within his jurisdiction, and working to complete the procedures related to preparing for the new sports season.
The club confirmed that the decision will be effective as of May 31, 2026, with the commitment of all concerned parties to implement it in accordance with the specified terms of reference.
