The Ministry of Interior announced the suspension of the decision to extend all types of entry visas that have expired or are about to expire, as of Sunday, June 7.
The Ministry explained in a post on its official account on the “X” platform that, as of the aforementioned date, the approved procedures and controls for all types of entry visas will resume, including the validity periods and fees prescribed for each type.
The Ministry called on all residents, visitors and stakeholders to ensure their legal status and commit to renewing visas, paying the prescribed fees according to the specified periods, or leaving the country if they expire, in order to avoid any legal violations or procedures resulting from exceeding the permitted periods of stay in the country.
