KUWAIT CITY, June 4: The General Traffic Department continues its efforts to curb serious traffic violations and guarantee road safety. A security source disclosed that Jahra traffic officers recently arrested two citizens for violating the speed limit, while the highway patrol units apprehended two others for driving more than 150 kilometers per hour over the limit, specifically 220 and 225 kilometers per hour, respectively. All four were referred to the traffic detention center for legal action, and their vehicles were impounded.
