The videos that appeared after the last day of classes at ‘Prelog High School’ in the Croatian town of Prelog horrified part of the public, as they show the school premises and yard covered with paper, packaging and remnants of the graduation party.
The videos show disorder in the classrooms, corridors and school yard, which caused negative reactions and comments about the responsibility of the students after the celebration.
However, this is a long-standing tradition at Prelog High School.
In fact, it is a pre-organized celebration of the last day of classes, which is held in a similar way every year and is part of the school graduation ceremony.
Among the participants of such activities, it is emphasized that the mess after the celebration is not of a permanent nature, and that the students, together with the staff, participate in cleaning the space, which returns to its original state in a very short time, usually within a few hours.
