The price of diesel is expected to rise four cents per liter and the price of gasoline is expected to fall one cent per liter next week, according to calculations made by the SIC based on the most up-to-date data from the closing of markets this Thursday, June 4th.
Remember that, at the beginning of this week, the price of fuel in Portugal dropped by around ten cents per liter.
The forecasts with the new values were made taking into account data from the closing of markets this Thursday, used by gas stations to define the prices to be applied.
The final values may vary depending on the area of the country and the gas station, but the average price of diesel should be around 1.90 euros per liter and that of gasoline 1.91 euros.
