The security services of the state of Tizi Ouzou recorded 13 cases of disappearance of children during the first semester of the current year.
On the occasion of the celebration of International Children’s Day, which falls on June 1, the security services renewed their call to parents to exercise caution and enhance family follow-up of children, especially during peak periods that witness intense activity in public spaces and entertainment venues.
The same departments also confirmed that protecting children remains one of their priorities by continuing awareness-raising and awareness campaigns directed at families and children, in addition to strengthening intervention and prevention mechanisms aimed at providing a safe environment for this group and protecting them from various risks.
