In Tajikistan, 7 people died as a result of road accidents on May 27, the day of the Idi Kurbon holiday. Another 6 people were injured and were hospitalized.
By information from the Ministry of Internal Affairsat noon on May 27, a driver and two passengers died as a result of one of the accidents. The driver of the car, Farrukh Almatov, lost control on the Dangara-Bokhtar road and crashed into a protective concrete barrier on the side of the road. The Ministry of Internal Affairs named the names of the dead:
— Farrukh Almatov, 35 years old, resident of the city of Bokhtar;
— Sayakhtam Odinazoda, 59 years old, resident of the city of Bokhtar;
— Kamolidin Odinaev, 53 years old, resident of the city of Bokhtar.
In another incident, 18-year-old Dzhumabeg Umedov, driving a motorcycle while intoxicated, hit 6-year-old Mairam Khalifazoda on the Dushanbe-Nizhny Pyanj highway, as a result of which the girl died in the hospital.
In two more accidents, two people were killed and another was injured. Among the dead are Khikmatullo Gafurov and Mirzokhon Jumaev.
Also on the evening of May 27, Muso Nematov, a 34-year-old driver of an Opel Astra, collided with a Bulldozer, resulting in the death of the Opel driver and injury to 5 passengers.
In addition, two people died as a result of road accidents on May 25 and 26. Among the dead are 27-year-old Nuriddin Mirzoev and 24-year-old Manizha Inoyatova.
