Slobodna Dalmacija – The son called the MUP: a wave of reactions because of the Dalmatian who was jailed for as many as 8 days because he slapped a naughty child on the butt

► What has this come to? I would take care of him, it wouldn’t occur to him to turn the number again, one way or another.

► I would throw him out.

► My father would have been in prison for life a long time ago for what I got in the ass, and I was an exemplary boy, I don’t even have to tell you. If I had called the police, they would have pissed me off a little more. There, this brat is right?

► An instructive case in what sense? That you can no longer raise your child without being threatened by blue phones, the police and the like? That’s why they are the way they are and will get worse, because they have all the rights without responsibility, they are protected like personal bears and they know that no one can do anything to them.

► I support the father, and thanks to the idiots who defend that child, he will grow up to be a really wonderful human being…

► Greens and beans for a week, they would be good as bugs.

► That father did not act well. So he came in and ordered. Did he first ask how his son had a day at school? Did he talk to him, is something bothering him? And if he had done all that, when leaving the room he could have told his son to clean the room. It’s the easiest to hit. I would report my husband to the police if he hits my daughter. Nobody has time to talk, that’s the problem. And did dad clean his room? Children copy us.

► The horror of what it all came down to, that’s why it’s the way it is. When they say that young people do not have children – how can they have them when they are not allowed to raise them? My children should put me in prison for the authority I was to them, and today they are grateful that I did, because they are educated people.

► Well done for my son. J***la and room and cleaning.

► Classic Croatian elders who learned to use military force on their own child because that is how he was taught in the JNA or his elders, that he will be obedient only if he is beaten. Such smart people stamp kids, but they don’t learn or prepare anything for parenting, they think they are the best parents because they managed to keep him alive. My old man has been a policeman for over 30 years and that’s how he raised me, constantly checking and harassing me under the pretext that he wanted me well. He waited for me to return the money to him in cents, he was not able to make anything possible, he kept me in poverty “so that I would not be spoiled”. Now at 28, I’m chasing everything I couldn’t afford when I was a kid. The result of such a “better” upbringing is that I feel sick when I’m around him, that I don’t have an iota of respect for him.

► That’s why children and youth are like that today, because their parents allow them everything, and the law allows them to do whatever they want. That is why, unfortunately, more and more of them are deceased. Everything is given to them – cars, cars, motorbikes, going out late, minors – they join bad companies, drink, do drugs… and when they get hurt, their parents pull their hair out.

► Well, mothers, today has become madness, no wonder children are like that. My mother used to beat me with whatever she had on hand, even at school she used to slap me on the palm when you were doing shit, but she teaches you a lot: respect for elders, responsibility, following the rules, that you can’t have everything you want in life. Everything went to hell today. The children should be sent to the street to play and have a childhood, and for the elderly to open playhouses, and not for everyone to hang out on their cell phones.

► That’s why we like it. He would fly out of my apartment on my 18th birthday so he would realize what he had done.

► Don’t beat the kids, the kids will beat you! What sentence would the father have received if he had beaten him with a “real” belt, life? Come on, kid, turn 18 and leave the house – into life! You will be pampered and looked after, you can do whatever you want, and the police and institutions will have their work cut out for them.

► Reading the comments, I only realized that a lot of people were beaten by their parents when they were young.

► If he was afraid of him or had any respect or emotion for his father, he wouldn’t have called the police for a strap on his ass.

► Smart people raise children by constant talking, and “personal bears” by hitting. They take out all their anger and ignorance on the child because they are not used to it. Take time for your child.

► Pack your bags nicely and tell the child and social services that, if they are better parents and educators than you, they should take him to an institution for abused and neglected children.

► If it’s too big for you, put it up for adoption.

► Then let them guide and feed him. Where should I sign? You have given the slobs rights, but not obligations.

► We all love our children and would give our lives for them, but children must know some limits and their responsibilities, because when they grow up, then it’s too late.

► The father says that they have big problems with him all the time, so the story doesn’t help anymore.

► At the age of 20, they must be independent, and the social service then no longer responds. Who is the parent of whom? The whole place – the parents – should come together, invite the social workers and register the children, and the parents collectively on vacation, let them take care of them. Canvas belt.

► The father got eight days in prison, the son is the main face at school. Now he is “grown up”…

    ► Don’t beat children… it’s a sin.

► No problem, let the social services take it. I wouldn’t rush to get him.

► Suitcases nice, and when the police come – here you go. I went to school, nobody scolded me or asked how I would carry my bag. Today, all children are in “special programs”, and you don’t allow children anything. I have three little girls, the police used to come because they make noise while swimming in the pool and scream.

► The father got too little prison time. Instead of going to a pedagogue to learn something about education, he beats his ten-year-old son.
