Residents of St. Aroment got a chance to connect directly with law enforcement on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, as the Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force (CDPF) brought its community outreach efforts into the neighborhood.
Between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM, officers took to the streets as part of the ongoing “Meet and Greet Foot Patrol,” an initiative carried out in partnership with Police Assisting Communities to Excel (P.A.C.E).
A CDPF Facebook post shared that as officers moved through the community, they stopped to speak with residents, taking the time to hear concerns, answer questions, and offer practical advice where needed. The engagement also served as an opportunity to reassure residents that regular patrols will continue, helping to maintain a sense of safety and presence in the area, say the CDPF.
The officers say that response from the community was notably warm. Many residents welcomed the initiative, expressing appreciation for their presence.
The St. Aroment visit is part of a wider series of CDPF outreach activities happening across communities throughout the island, all aimed at strengthening relationships and fostering safer neighborhoods.
