The Mburicaó stream, at the height of the bridge over Artigas Avenue, a few meters from Lombardo, continues without a protective railing. The lack of adequate infrastructure creates a constant risk for those traveling through the area, especially during rainy days.
Even though on the bridge Mburicaó stream in Artigas Some concrete posts were placed, the work was never completed. Currently, only remains of an old iron railing remain, evidencing municipal abandonment.
Each storm that is recorded turns the place into a critical point, because intense rapids are formed that cross the avenue, considerably increasing the danger of people being swept into the stream bed. Fear is growing especially because heavy rains are predicted for the coming days.
