Leonora Carrington She was one of the greatest exponents of the surrealist movement in Mexico. Her works covered various disciplines such as painting, sculpture and literature, including novels and short stories where she fused autobiographical elements with themes such as feminism, fiction and magic.
Through her art, this notable painter experienced the limits of reality and dreams, creating universes that defied convention. And very soon you will be able to meet them in this immersive experience.
“Leonora Carrington: Labyrinth” adapts the artist’s works to an interactive format, in which attendees can observe them and even walk among them through spaces designed with moving images, lights and symbolism.

Its objective is to involve visitors in a surreal narrative, coexisting with surprising creatures inspired by Celtic mythology, fantastic literature and even alchemy.
The name of the experience is inspired, by the way, by the painting ‘Labyrinth’ (1991). There, the artist reflects the complexity of the human mind.
Following the logic of surrealism, in Leonora Carrington: Labyrinth Each visitor builds their own route, through a sensory montage with:
- Digital projections
- monumental sculptures
- Surround effects
These elements not only enrich the visual experience, but offer a new way of approaching art with technological resources. And yes, there are spaces to take pictures.
