The federal president accused that in 2006 there was an attempt to make the Texcoco Airport under the PAN government of Vincent Fox and the state of the PRI Enrique Pena Nieto.

“A police, a National guard will never repress the people of Mexico, never again,” he added.
When commemorating the 20 years of these events in San Salvador Atencohighlighted the return of 54 hectares to the Atenco ejido and the symbolic action of “the recognition of the people of Mexico to their struggle and to those who experienced this bloody repression.”
The federal president signed the collaboration agreement for the second restitution of lands to Atenco Ejido and presented the recognitions to the residents.
