The Special State Prosecutor’s Office (SDT) indicted fugitives Vukašin Vojinović, Aleksandar Mijajlović, Vuk Banićević, Vlado Banićević, Filip Zindović Kljajević, Nebojša Bugarin, Božidar Jabučanin, Milan Popović, Radoj Zvicer and Vladimir Bajčeta from Žablja for smuggling more than 4 tons of cocaine.
This was announced by the SDT, which is headed by the chief special prosecutor Vladimir Novović, from where they explained that after the investigation was completed, they submitted the indictment against 10 defendants to the Special Department of the High Court.
In the indictment, it was proposed that Banićević’s detention be extended, and that Vojinović, Zindović, Zvicer, Bugarin and Jabučanin, who are on the run, be tried in absentia.
The other defendants are in custody in other criminal cases.
“The Special State Prosecutor’s Office submitted to the Special Department of the High Court in Podgorica, after the completion of the investigation, an indictment against 10 defendants: VV, AM, VB, VB, NB, BJ, MP, RZ, FZ and VB, and against VV, VB and VB, for four criminal offenses of unauthorized production, possession and distribution of narcotic drugs, against NB, for three criminal offenses of unauthorized production, possession and distribution of narcotic drugs, against AM and MoJ, for two criminal offenses of unauthorized production, possession and placing on the market of narcotic drugs, and against RZ, FZ, BJ and VB, for one criminal offense each of unauthorized production, possession and placing on the market of narcotic drugs, the subject of which is a total of 4,139,605 kg of cocaine.”
They pointed out that they launched a financial investigation against the defendants, “with the aim of permanently confiscating property that is determined to have been acquired through criminal activity.”
