He announced on the X network that he met with EC President Ursula von der Leyen in Tivat, where the EU-Western Balkans Summit is being held.
“The European Commission, led by Von der Leyen, is ready to welcome Montenegro, and our task is to deliver the remaining results and complete the negotiation process by the end of the year,” said Spajić.
He said that constitutional changes must be a priority for all political actors in Montenegro, without excuses. Spajić said that the Government remains fully focused on achieving that goal.
“The government of Montenegro remains fully focused, with a clear plan and historical goal – Montenegro part of the EU. It’s up to us,” concluded Spajić.
